Night of Gaming for Good, PAX 2022 Edition

FTW Events and Mox Boarding House is proud to present our Top of the World: Night of Gaming for Good, PAX 2022 Edition! On Friday, September 2, 2022, we invite you to come spend an evening with the tabletop gaming community once again. At the 76th floor of the Columbia Tower, you’ll enjoy a scrumptious buffet and play board games all night with Top of the World views as your gorgeous backdrop. All proceeds go to support families and children at the Seattle Children’s Hospital!

Long-time fans and guests of our events may notice that this event is a bit different from our usual extravaganza.
Keep up to date by checking out our latest blog.

When: Friday September 2, 2022 during PAX 2022 weekend, 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Come join us after your shenanigans at the convention! As usual, you will not need to have a PAX badge to join us.

Where: Seattle's Columbia Tower, 701 5th Avenue, 76th Floor
We'll be on the highest (publicly accessible) floor west of the Mississippi River! The tower is an 8 block walk or about a quick Uber/Lyft ride from the Washington State Convention Center.

A Night of Gaming for Good on Top of the World

  • Have a great time meeting and playing with other gamers. Going solo? No problem! We’ll have matchmaking “looking for players” signs available.

  • Check out games from our lending library (you’re welcome to bring your own as well).

  • Enjoy a decadent buffet provided by the Columbia Tower Kitchen.

  • Win games in our evening raffle.

  • Buy new games to take home at our pop-up store, helmed by Mox Boarding House. Each ticket purchase includes two (2) $5 vouchers for a total of up to $10 off qualifying purchases at the pop-up shop!

General Admission  $89 Early Bird $99 General (Get Tickets)
For this event we’re not doing our usual VIP option, but that means we get to upgrade the General Admission dining menu with some incredible food! We’ll be serving steak as the main entrée (with vegetarian options available, of course) which is usually reserved for our VIP menu! Come ready to eat, is what we’re saying. :)

Win Games in Our Raffle - An Update
We will indeed be having a raffle at this event, thanks to a couple of generous benefactors, but due to supply chain/pandemic-related issues, it will not be our usual grand raffle. We hope that at future events, the economy improves and our raffle can be back at full force. We are so grateful to our anonymous benefactor for their donation to make the raffle possible. Thanks to them, you can win and take home games like Shadowrun Crossfire, Dicey Peaks, Wombat Rescue, and more!

Come for the Cause
There are a number of reasons to attend, but chief among them is that we'll be gaming for good. Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Uncompensated Care program eases the financial burden on vulnerable families whose kids are in need of care, allowing parents to focus on the most important thing: their child’s health.  Over 60% of families at Seattle Children’s are in need of financial assistance. Help us ensure that they receive it!

Come for the Games
Play all night from our extensive lending library, with a variety of games to suit many tastes and play styles. You are also welcome to BYOG (bring your own game). Our long time partner, Mox Boarding House, will be available to put on a pop-up shop once again, so that you also have the option of purchasing and picking up a new game from them that night.

Come for the Party
This event promises an incredible evening of gaming and fundraising against the amazing backdrop of the Seattle skyline and sunset from 76 floors up. Enjoy a fine dining buffet from the Columbia Tower Club's kitchen and sip on geeky-themed cocktails, available for purchase from the bar. Play and mingle all night with other gamers, and even perhaps game developers, publishers and other industry folk!

A happy little girl with a beautiful wide smile, giggles while receiving a checkup on a doctor's exam table.

All proceeds go towards helping kids like her, who are receiving treatment at the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

PARKING
Parking is available at the Columbia Tower for $10 after 5PM. However, please note that the garage closes at midnight, any car parked after midnight will be charged for the next day as well. Street parking is free after 8:00 PM.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to The Imagine Guild in support of Seattle Children's Hospital. The Mission Statement of the Imagine Guild is bringing together the motorcycle community in support of Children’s Hospital, and their mission is to eliminate childhood illness and injury. This is a wonderful cause and we hope you can join us!

We can’t wait to see you!
